DIY Detox Drinks for Weight Loss
1.Green Tea And Lemon
What You Need
Water
1 green tea bag
1/4 lemon
How To Prepare
Boil a cup of water and place a green tea bag in it.
Add the juice of the lemon.
Drink it while it is still hot.
2. Lemon And Cucumber Detox Water
This water is best for boosting immunity and cleansing out toxins from the system. Cucumber is anti-inflammatory and helps to keep the body hydrated.
What You Need
1 lemon
1 cucumber (खीरा)
Mint leaves (पुदीना)
A pinch of salt
Water
How To Prepare
Cut the lemon into wedges and slice the cucumber. Toss the pieces into the jar.
Add a few mint leaves and a pinch of salt.
Pour water into the jar.
Keep it in the fridge overnight.
3. Honey, Lemon, And Ginger
Ginger is a magic root and is quite effective as a natural pain killer. Not only it will work as a natural painkiller but will also help you flush out all the toxins in the morning.
What You Need
1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 inch ginger root (अदरक)
1 glass warm water
How To Prepare
Heat a glass of water. Do not boil it.
Crush the ginger root.
Add the lemon juice, crushed ginger, and honey to a glass of warm water.
Drink it while it is still warm.
4.Buttermilk Detox Drink
What You Need
Buttermilk/plain curd
Mint leaves (पुदीना)
Coriander leaves (धनिया)
1/2 carrot
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed powder (जीरा) (roasted)
A pinch of salt
How To Prepare
Pour the buttermilk into a jar. You may also mix two tablespoons of plain curd, a pinch of salt, and water to make your own homemade buttermilk.
Roughly chop a few mint leaves and coriander leaves.
Thinly slice half a carrot.
Blend the carrots and herbs into the buttermilk.
Add a pinch of salt and a bit of roasted cumin seed powder and stir well.
5.Apple cinnamon detox water
This water is not only delicious but also soothes your body and is also great for slimming because cinnamon helps to boost your metabolism.
What You Need
Apple
Cinnamon powder/stick (दालचीनी)
How To Prepare
Take a litre sized jar fill it with water
Add thin slices of apple and a cinnamon stick or powder.
It's best to let the ingredients stay in the water for at least an hour before serving.
Note : You can refill the jar three to four times using the same apples and cinnamon sticks.
